What if each month the Various Unknowns held a reading/writing contest? It can be either who reads the most in one month, or writes a fantastic short story? The prize would be a new rank, like a moderator. It doesn't have to be an administrator. By the time we get as many as 100 members, we can close the contest. To me, it seems like an idea to draw people who love to read and write in. Also, we'd have more responsible members.
